One device. No cameras. Nothing on the walls.
The ORMAI wearable carries the SENSE radio into the home, so the care environment becomes readable without installing anything in it.
01The objection, first
Nothing is installed in the home.
No cameras. No microphones. No boxes on the walls. No rewiring. For a family weighing dementia monitoring, that is the objection — so it is answered before any capability.
What it carries
The SENSE radio: presence detection, room-level location and activity events. Tested in controlled conditions with human participants.
Tested is not validated. No accuracy figures, no clinical claims, no real-world deployment — none of those exist yet.
What it measures itself
Physiological sensing inside the device. This is roadmap only, and is kept deliberately separate from the sensing capability above.
04What it changes
Episodic assessment becomes continuous context.
A change in the room can be read against a change in the assessment trend. That is the product thesis — stated as a forward statement, because integration is the current engineering focus.
05What it does not change
The ORMAI app is complete without it.
The app is not a demo for the hardware. Families, facilities and clinics can buy and use it today, with no hardware at all.
06When and how
We are not taking orders yet.
There is no price and no order button, because neither the specification nor the pricing is fixed. We will not publish battery life, range or a form factor until they are settled. Register interest and we will write to you when there is something real to say.
